BMO Financial Group Relationship Manager in XXXXX, Florida

Reporting, Analytics, and Risk Management

Supports the execution of accurate and efficient reporting solutions for risk, regulatory and management information to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies. Supports an efficient and effective risk management function which uses common information sources and practices, costs, service level performance, and minimizes risk. In addition, liaises with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities and, recommends solutions to enable the achievement of organizational goals. Builds exceptional relationships with internal stakeholders. Analyzes data and creates documents and plans in service of informing, advising, or updating stakeholders.

Strategic Initiatives

Provides subject matter expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of assigned projects from business case development through execution. Works across BMO to deliver specific project/program business results in alignment with overall group goals.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Develops, implements, and maintains process, methodologies, tools, templates, artifacts and training which outlines the requirements for Delivery deals across T&O. In addition, coordinates communications across T&O Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Initiatives (TOMASI) Delivery stakeholders and Workstreams

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and manages alignment with key performance commitments and risk management standards; Consolidates data into regular, ad-hoc reports, and dashboards

  • Ensure the Business Continuity Plan is communicated to the Team annually and updated as changes occur during the year.

  • Maintains all related team (including, but not limited to Global Service Management, Living Will, and general business operations) artifacts and act as the subject member expert on team process and procedures

  • Drives efficiency and effectiveness by developing self-serve reporting tools and utilize previous and current deal data

  • Perform ongoing market research of M&A industry news, data, and analytics

  • Take on a support role within the T&O M&A Office on M&A deals

  • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives

  • Understands the regulatory requirements and risks inherent in the operations and ensures appropriate actions are taken and operational integrity is maintained

  • Maintain a current understanding of the Bank’s overall organizational structure (T&O, Lines of Business, and Corporate Support Areas).

  • Maintain focused interaction with all groups within T&O and Corporate Support Areas

  • Collaborates in development/implementation of new processes/tools and changes/improvements to existing processes and tools

  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle

  • Understanding of risk, regulatory and compliance requirements

  • Understanding of industry standards and business capabilities

  • Understand M&A industry context

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and SharePoint

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge in building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform

  • Show familiarity in automating basic business processes with Power Automate and in creating simple Power Apps experiences

  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Exceptional skills in quantitative analytics

  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under limited supervision

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

  • Excellent capability to service multiple groups independently and proactively
