BMO Financial Group Technical Lead in Virtual, Georgia

We are looking for someone to lead a team of ambitious technology professionals as they deliver a wide range of application or system solutions.

You'll also have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and leadership beyond your immediate team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management.

  • Ensure all aspects of the development life cycle specific to building/ integrating applications are followed while maintaining consistent with overall design

  • Analyze the requirements and provide the solution for the requirements

  • Create Design documentation in the area of DB Management/Reporting applications.

  • Lead development effort in building Datawarehouse/Data Mart Applications.

  • Coordinate delivery effort by working closely with various technology workstreams (ex: Infrastructure, System Admin, Testing)

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in highly scalable database environments like Netezza, Hadoop.

  • Preferable experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Data driven decision making - In-depth.

  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.

  • Influence skills - In-depth.

  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills.

  • Capable of leading a team of 6-7 developers and analysts.
