Global Markets, Cross Asset Solutions (“CAS”), Analytic (Quantitative Strategies) Group
The Vice President in the Quantitative Strategies Group is expected to work closely with trading personnel of all trading groups within CAS as well as structuring and sales teams, providing support in managing trade lifecycle, business intelligence and risk limits. The role also requires extensive collaboration with Global Markets Engineering (“GME”), Global Operations, Market Risk etc. to ensure the implementation of effective and efficient downstream reporting capabilities for the trading and note issuing activities within CAS. This person is expected to maximize profit while prudently minimizing the bank’s risk exposures while adhering to regulatory statutes.
Extensive knowledge of non-linear equity and fixed income structured products, familiarity with other financial products.
Understanding of key market, credit, liquidity risk management concepts.
Working knowledge of structured products operations.
Familiarity with pricing theory and derivative models.
Advanced programming skills, C#, python, flask, react
Design and update risk report formats and content, CAS calibration tools, client management applications.
Communicate clearly with various stakeholders (trading, sales, structuring) in order to understand and resolve issues.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, calculations, and the work environment.
Experience / Education / Other
Financial industry professional with at least 2 years of experience.
Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technical area (i.e. math, science, finance, economics, etc).
Preference for Master’s or PhD degree and/or professional designation (CFA, FRM, CPA, CA etc)
