BMO Financial Group Senior Manager - Team Lead in Toronto, Ontario

As a Team Lead, this role is accountable for overseeing the end-to-end onboarding of branch users (external and internal hires), ensuring a smooth employee experience. Act as an escalation point for issues and concerns for Regional/Branch Management, Leadership and Advisor Teams. Ensure the highest level of technology and change support across branches.

This role partners with BMO Technology & Operations, support groups and vendors and leads a team of potentially 2-4 members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding with quality and on time

  • Design and develop the operating model and processes for supporting exceptional onboarding

  • Define profile-based onboarding structure

  • Oversee and provide end-to-end support across all regions in close coordination with tech and provisioning teams

  • Lead the hiring planning and execution of onboarding, including communication and arranging prompt support

  • Plan and manage team capacity to meet the growing demand

  • Continuously recommend and deliver improvements and solutions.

  • Maintain reporting and dashboard for leaders

Team Effectiveness

  • Coaching and providing direction to the team members to allow them to be successful in their roles

  • Contribute to a positive, engaged and high-performance culture within the team

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant industry experience acting as a business lead/project manager on technology or business projects.

  • Strong knowledge of discretionary, full service investing, financial services industry and fintech

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

  • Change management and relationship management

  • Able to translate technology issues into business terminology and visa-versa.

  • Proficiency in communicating to audiences at various levels clearly and concisely.

  • Experience leading a small or large team (5-15)
