The Senior Business Analytics Specialist is the subject matter expert for all competitive loyalty studies and internal product and channel (“outer loop”) insights. S/he will recommend areas of focus to ensure continued progress on our customer loyalty journey.

The Senior Specialist will work with external research data to gain a deep understanding of key areas of focus. The incumbent will be accountable to synthesize the information, uncover key insights and actions, and create executive-level presentations that clearly communicate insights and next steps.

The Senior Specialist will work with our proprietary NPS data, using our Qualtrics platform to understand key ‘outer loop’ areas of focus and assist in the identification, prioritization, tracking and progress of improvements.

The role will be accountable to liaise across multiple internal and external groups, including research vendors, Enterprise Customer Experience, Business Banking, Personal Banking, Products, Channels, etc.

This role will work closely with the Head, Customer Loyalty and the Senior Manager, Customer Loyalty Insights and will be required to produce executive-level professional presentations that clearly and concisely rollup complex data to key insights.

The ideal candidate will be an independent leader and have a passion for figuring out new data sets, digging into the data and synthesizing key learnings. S/he will need to delve deep into the data to pull out insights and then be able to bottom line areas of focus. The ideal candidate possesses analytical rigour, strategic acumen/critical thinking and exceptional written communication skills (PowerPoint).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Five to seven years experience

  • Researching market/industry trends – in-depth

  • Relationship management – good

  • Analytics and reporting – expert

  • Negotiation skills – good

  • Software and systems architecture knowledge – in-depth/expert

  • Financial Understanding – good/in-depth

  • Verbal & written communication skills, including PPT – expert.

  • Data driven decision making - expert.

  • SAS, SQL, SPSS - expert
