Supports an efficient and effective Market Risk management function, execution of accurate data, reconciliations, analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including the Regulatory bodies.
Executes and organizes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient scheduled and ad hoc processes. Supports the maintenance of operational procedures and processes related to team’s mandates and functionalities.
Supports the maintenance, monitoring, and measurement of key Counterparty Credit Risk indicators, data and attributes, including trading limits, transactions economics, Legal, nettings impact and associated investigations, projects and resolutions.
Supports the interpretation of internal and external policies and regulatory requirements relevant to the analytics. Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensures strong governance and effective controls across activities and information in accordance with Team, department, enterprise and Regulatory standards. Provides information and supports the process for internal and external audits.
Analyzes data and highlights significant information including variances, trends, opportunities for improvements and exposures; escalates as required. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Typically between 1-2 years of relevant experience and Master degree in related field (Risk Management, Math, Science or Engineering) of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of CM Products, legal Agreements and Market and CCR risk measures.
Data analysis and coding skills including Excel functions – in depth. Python and VBA preferred.
Knowledge of trading products, derivatives and SFTs, risk management theory/System, processes and portfolio management.
Strong understanding of control and governance requirements
Detailed oriented individual with ability to prioritize work and timelines
