BMO-Clearpool provides a market-based suite of Saas trading products/solutions to sell-side equities clients. We offer a full spectrum of integrated capabilities to deliver leading market analytics, algorithmic trading software, risk management, connectivity, and execution services to clients. The Relationship Management Team exists as an essential role within the Client Services Group here at BMO-Clearpool. As a partner to the other client-facing teams (Sales and HelpDesk), the RM team is constantly on focus and acts as the primary point of contact for our clients on a day-day basis. In this Role you will immerse yourself intimately with both the Products we offer as well as within our clients organizations and needs’ This fast paced team actively engages with requests and questions from our entire customer base and is in constant contact with all of our partners both internal and external. As an RM the clients’ success is directly tied to the engagement you can create and maintain. Ensuring deep penetration within a user base and full understanding of the capabilities the offering has is absolutely key. Communication is not just essential externally but sharing ideas and recurring themes within the team & organization, ensure the Relationship Management Team is constantly improving the overall user experience and helps the team to grow with shared knowledge.
Areas of Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensures new clients are fully on-boarded and trained.
Proactively engage with clients to ensure/improve client satisfaction and retention.
Meet regularly with clients to review strategies and provide training and/or aid in customizing strategies.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Detail oriented. Sound technical knowledge of algorithmic trading, comfortable with data and analysis to identify trends.
Seeks opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients
Ensuring clients have a clear understanding of the BMO-Clearpool offering and assists in growing this user base by building long-term relationships.
Showcasing and training our user base on new functionality/releases and their relevant use-cases.
Drive continuous service improvements and client satisfaction. Our focus on performance ensures high levels of business retention
Leads in Client engagement and brand ambassadorship on a daily basis
Provides input and feedback as it relates to Product Development and Marketing ensuring that both our clients and our product roadmap are aligned and complimentary.
Contributes to growing / elevating the BMO and BMO Capital Market brand with a commitment to and presence in the community.
Identifies and leverages key decision makers and influencers in client / internal organizations.
Leverages subject matter expertise to enable innovative/creative client solutions.
Develops and/or facilitates development of client-focused solutions based on financial expertise, organizational, technical, regulatory and environmental client awareness.
Acts as a positive change agent to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
Applies appropriate technical concepts and completes/leads consistent and reliable technical and financial reports/analyses to support client deliverables.
Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
Develops rapport and instills confidence with clients to earn their trust.
Participates in industry and prospect events to grow presence in the marketplace.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
5 - 7 years of broker industry experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience .
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience especially in the topics of Algorithmic Equities Trading, Market Microstructure, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), FIX, Market Data, Execution Performance Criteria, OMS, etc
FINRA series 7 & 63 certified (or able to be certified within 90 days of hire)
Deal execution and/or project management skills - In-depth.

Market knowledge to enable the comprehensive servicing of clients and the effective development of new solutions - In-depth.
