BMO Financial Group FRESH GRADS! Transportation Portfolio Sales Representatives in Irving, Texas

BMO Harris Bank is looking for fresh or recent grads to join their Transportation Finance Sales team. This person will facilitate growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships. The Portfolio Sales Rep will work closely with large truck dealerships to negotiate lending rates. The candidate will need strong relationship management skills in order to maintain long-standing truck and trailer dealer relationships.

  • Works closely with Finance Managers at large truck and trailer dealerships to negotiate credit approval conditions and customer lending rates.

  • Acts timely, efficiently and independently, taking ownership of customer satisfaction.

  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Acts as the daily sales contact for the client for sales related questions such as product information, pricing, implementation timeframes and requirements.

  • Acts as the key sales contact with the client to gather the required detailed information necessary to move the sale forward in the process, including completing all necessary documentation.

  • Provides research and data gathering to sales team to facilitate solution to the client’s/prospect’s business and needs.

  • Assists with sales and service administration and processing ensuring client experience is seamless and opportunities are identified and met.

  • Maintains current client information on Bank system/files to ensure client history is accurate and complete.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required in any field of study.

  • Typically between 1-2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study preferred.

  • Strong desire to be in sales and grow within their sales team.

  • Strong negotiating skills

  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
