Provides administrative and operational support in the delivery of financial planning and use of digital tools in order to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Works collaboratively with Private Wealth Advisors, Wealth Planning Consultants, and Wealth Analysts managing BMO Wealth Connection, the client aggregation tool and portal for financial planning in eMoney. Assists in setting up client connections, troubleshooting, and maintaining data feeds into eMoney. Provides as-needed guidance and training on use of digital tools. Works directly with high net worth clients alongside wealth team, by request of Private Wealth Advisors or Financial Planners. Supports development efforts and ongoing maintenance of dashboard reporting for various business areas in Power BI, and provide updates to senior management as necessary. Works proactively to increase Advisor and client adoption of digital tools for an improved the client experience.

  • Ensures alignment between values and behavior that fosters diversity and inclusion.

  • Works closely with the Financial Planners, Wealth Advisors, and Analysts - building credibility as a trusted resource.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Power BI a plus.

  • Knowledge of data handling and data visualization a plus.

  • Assists in development and ongoing maintenance of data visualization dashboards.

  • Working knowledge of eMoney and MoneyGuidePro a plus.

  • Partners with third party software vendors to facilitate and communicate changes and enhancements

  • Collaborates across functional and operating groups to create the highest value for stakeholders.

  • Assists Financial Planners in managing and resolving client escalations.

  • Provides proactive and professional assistance to team members in order to meet client needs and team members' expectations.

  • Fosters a culture aligned with BMO purpose, values, and strategy and models BMO values in day-to-day activites.

  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.

  • Maintains strong communication with internal partners to support and understand workflow challenges, identify and escalate issues to management.

  • Develops productive relationships with internal teams/branch and with business partners.

  • Ensures client needs are met or exceeded; manages requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Meets high-quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.

  • Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Follows through on risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure customer assets are safeguarded and their privacy maintained.

  • Protects the Bank's assets and complies with regulatory, legal and ethical requirements.

  • Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.

  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within normal guidelines.

  • Self-starter and team player.

  • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 1+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree preferred.

  • Interest in pursuit/completion of CFP designation.

  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
